Default My 1994 Accord (auto) has an "Engine Check" that comes on every time I start driving.

Why is it doing that? This does not appear to affect the engine so far, as the car still drives smoothly.

try diconnecting the battery over night(or at least for an hour) then re-connecting it in the morning. this should reset the internal computer!

Go to the nearest AutoZone and tell them that your light is coming on they will hook it up to a lil handheld computer which will run a diagnostic check and tell you whats wrong with your car

One or more of the sensors in your car (as many as 20) is beginning to fail and is operating out of range. You will need a code reader to extract the computer code to identify the failing part. Replace the part. Erase the stored code. And reset the computer.

if it is yellow check engine light then it may be just a sensor problem if the car runs fine then I wouldn't worry about it . to get sensors replaced is usually not worth the cost unless you have a mechanic as a friend. at the dealer it going to cost an arm and a leg.
