could be the transmission, the steering column, anything that has fluid in it can leak

There is a die that any local repair shop can put in your oil thatll pin point where the origin of the leak is. You can get the die yourself but you have to have a black light and steam clean the engine first

Valve cover...cylinder head...main seal...too many places to list. Clean off the engine (sprayer in a manual car wash-be careful of the distributor if you have one), and then check for the leak after driving a bit.

go to mechanic immediately, otherwise your car may have big trouble.

IF IT'S OIL, IT MIGHT BE THE CRANK SEAL.

if it not the pan, head, or filter, check the distributor or drain plug... but there are a few places where oil could be leaking from ... but like the others say GO HAVE A MECHANIC CHECK IT OUT!
