it's probably the axel giving way. You should get that checked before it spins out of control and god knows what will happen

it is probably the cv joint that is going bad . they are located on both side of the vehicle. it is part of the steering. when you get it change or rebuilt you should do both sides because the other one will start making the same sound soon.

You could need a new CV joint. Does it make the sound when you turn the wheel to full lock or just when its turned a little?

break pads can malfunction on one side, and it sounds weird
