My husband and I have had the occassion to look at both vehicles. Hands down, the "Fit" fit our the bill.. quiet engine, great gas mileage, flush lying back seats, great cargo capacity.I DIDN'T like that is IS rather small for more than 3 to 5 people (and NOT big families). But it would be good for a growing family. We are looking at buying one in the near future.Any Opinions?

As far as comparing the Fit to the Yaris the Honda Fit has more safety features than the Toyota Yaris. Here an example: Honda Fit-Engine Immobilizer Standard Toyota Yaris-Not AvailableHonda Fit-Airbag Driver Passenger HeadSide Toyota Yaris-Airbag Driver Passenger My choice in vehicles would be the Honda Fit, not because i'm a Honda Technician because it has more safety features

i like both of the K class cars Japan & Europe has had K class cars for a long time. America is used to a big old towncar
We Own a 2004 Toyota Echo it is amazingly Roomy on the inside 43Mpg after some engine Updates and maintaince. I like The Honda fit. the car has been around in Japan for about 6 years now.I'd buy the fit also Be Aware though the MPG on the Sticker is not The MPG you will get. expect 5-8 MPG less then what any car or truck says on the window
