We're thinking about getting a small SUV. Very concerned that the CRV 4 cylinder doesn't have enough pick up. What do you think about the Toyota RAV, too?Thanks.GRIZZ

Honda CRV has good gas milage for SUV's. I would suggest getting a Honda car instead of a SUV. Gas Prices are gonna be killer.

I've leased my crv for four years. Before that I had aan accord. I loved that car. Now, I'm sorta hooked on the small suv concept. Groceries, dog, home depot garden supplies etc. What I absolutely hate is when you open the rear windows and drive over 20 mph. the noise and pressure to your ears is unbearable. That's why I'm considering something other than the crv. I also don't think the crv has good pick-up.

I answered your other question about CRVs... I have never had a problem with my engine picking up.. and I've used it for moving and people hauling on countless occasions! It's always had enough power! Roomy, versatile and great on gas milage, it's the best vehicle I've owned so far.. Highly recommended!!
