The dealers assures us the 4 cylinder has adequate pick up. Does it? That's a must. There is one coming today through our credit union, and we have to tell them if we want it. Doesn't even give us a chance to test drive. It's new, a 2006. If you have any info. on a TOYOTA RAV too, we would like to hear from youThanks alot.GRIZZ

You know a lot of people are down on SUV drivers these days, but it's one thing if you want a compact SUV as opposed to the biggest thing on wheels. I've had my CRV for nearly 7 years now and I love it. It is extremely versatile, roomy, and great for road trips. The gas milage isn't bad either... it's equivalent to (if not better than) most 4 door sedans on the market. I have the 2WD model with the standard 4 cylinder engine, and yes, it does get up and go... I have never experienced engine lag or other mechanical issues... in fact, it's been the best vehicle I've ever had!
