One picks up speed faster than the other. The 6 cylinder is faster, but also guzzles more gas than the 4 cylinder. Other than that, there is not much difference. My first Honda was a 6 cylinder. My current is a 4 cylinder (Accord Coupe).

Depends on how you define "much".4 cyclinder engine: 166 horsepower, 24 mpg in city/34 mpg in hwy (w/ automatic transmission).6 cyclinder engine: 244 horsepower, 20 mpg city/29 mpg hwy (w/ automatic).According to Consumersguide.com, a test 4 cyclinder automatic took 8.6 seconds to get from 0-60. The 6 cyclinder automatic took 7.0 seconds. And of course, the 6 cylinder version is quite a bit more expensive, though part of that is because the V6 model comes pretty much stocked, whereas you can get the 4 cyclinder model is with or without a lot of options.
