There are many part stores out there that sell a product called engine restore. It is suppose to help seal the piston rings and give you more power. The problem is that if your car is smoking hard then it may be time for an engine overhaul. Also, is the car smoking all the time or just on acceleration? It could also be the valve guides or seals.

Working in an auto parts store for 6 years, you see a lot of products that claim to do this or that. The ONLY oil/engine additive that I would recommend is Lucas Products. They make an engine stop leak that I have actually seen results from. You can get it a most auto parts stores. Thay also have a great power steering stop leak. Their products don't void warranties and they have a money back guarantee.
