Si is just the trim level. It is code for what options or extras are included. You know I owned a Civic SI for several years. Loved the car. Still don't know if SI stood for something or not. Sports Injection sounds good to me.

"slow import", sorry I dont like the whole fast and furious import scene. Punks put a muffler on there car that has 115 hp and they rev the crap out of them like they are race cars. Its just the trim level, no real meaning.

Not just a 'trim level'. SI stands for: Sports Injection. The 99-00 civic SI has 160hp, not 115... yes some kids do put fartcans on them and think they go fast with that, but I have seen many well done SI's that are smoking just about anything they come across so you really can't be biased until you know the details, though I understand the sentiment, been there and done that.
