It's unknown. I have a 96 civic that I've owned since 96 with 160000+ miles and it runs great. No problems other than changing the brakes and it gets about 32 MPG still. A mechanic told me I should get close to 400,000-500,000 out of the engine. With it paid in great condition, I don't see myself getitng rid of it anytime soon. A nice little family starter car has turned out to be a reliable inexpensive method of transportation.

ETERNITY is the best way to answer that. I have a 1994 Acura Integra that have 150k on it. Back in 1997 Honda had the Race to 1 million. First documented Honda product to have 1,000,000 miles on it won. The Owner, from what I heard lived in Texas, and won in 2000. The prize was free Honda products for life. As long as you take care of it it will last forever, or close to it. Check your local Honda dealership most of them keep documents on serviced older Honda's
