Honda Civic is a good reliable vehichle and the get some of the best gas mileage.

my brother had a Toyata Tercel for his first car. he loved it. it was old and so you could run the crap out of it.

A used Honda Civic. They last a long time. Don't buy new because you have to pay for maintenance to keep the warranty in effect and this can be an expense often overlooked by the first-time car buyer.

for your first car just get something you know is in good shape and hasn't been abused. dont worry about the Make as much as things like mileage and weather the previous owner conducted regular maintenance.

A good reliable car to own has to be? It all depends if this is going to be your first car do you want to be cool or have a car that's going to be reliable? I think a 2006 Hyundai Tiburon is a cool 1st car, or even the new mustang

Any good beater that gets good gas milage, runs good, and cheap on insurance. Good car to learn to drive and not break your budget.

well it all depends on your budget, but any car such as a toyota corolla or a civic or a vw golf or jetta, they all get excellent mileage and will last a long time. they dont have tons of power but very reliable.

Good gas mileage, save money, and save the world. The all new Toyota Prius Hybrid is all you need.Lasts very long for over 20 years. Japanese cars are always lasting long.

For females, preferrably a Honda or a Toyota. They are virtually maintainence free.
