how do i find honda radio lock-out codes?

unfortunetlly honda has that info. kept to themselfs. there is a code on the back of the radio and you will have to call the dealer and they will call you back with the code. anotherway to keep us out of their cars.

Try to contact a service manager at your local Honda dealer I have done it by VIN# a couple of times but you might have to take the stereo out for the serial number on it

it should be in the glove box on a sticker or on a card about the size of a credit card...obviously it isn't going to say that it is the radio code, but should be a 4-6 digit number

Honda radio codes are five digits long. When dealers get a brand new car in, most techs will put a sticker in the car with the radio code. Some common places to look: on the side of the glove box, inside the center console, or on the hinges of the trunk. If there is no sticker, the only way to obtain the code is to give the SERIAL NUMBER of the radio to Honda. This code is on the radio itself and requires removal of the unit in most cases (sometimes you can just remove a trim piece on the passenger side and it's right there) Once Honda has the serial number, they can pull up the radio code. If you're at all handy with hand tools, try to take the radio out yourself so the dealer can't charge you to remove the radio.
