it should fit but honda wont sell you an 06 motor. you would have to look in the junk yard but that will be really hard to find since they just came out with it

I doubt it since the 2005 and 2006 are totally different cars but I don't know.And Honda won't sell you just the engine. You'll have to wait for a few Sis to get totalled and head down to the junkyard hunting for them (or on eBay) before you can get one.

No. Your '05 4 door has a new d-series engine, which is different from any engine Honda currently makes. The Si has a K-series engine, also found the in the previous Si, though the engine you're referring to is very similar to the one found in the RSX Type-S. They also probably won't sell you the Si engine, as you do not own an Si.
