Default Does Honda still manufacture Preludes?

I really like the look of a Prelude and am considering buying one; however, I hardly see them on the streets. When I do see them, they seem older and I hardly see newer ones. The people I've asked tell me they were discountinued, some tell me they are not made every year, but still manufactured. Does anyone know the low down and about how much does a "new" model go for?

Check out the Acura RSX. They are very similar in concept, size & price (both made by Honda), and similar price range. Also, I had two RSX's and got about 27-30mpg avg.

Production of the Honda Prelude ended in 2001. Sorry about that. The redesigned and somewhat sportier Accord Coupe was supposed to fill the shoes of the Prelude and Accord.

no, but i can tell you they were(and remain) an excellent car. I have a 93 prelude and it still runs like a charm-very reliable and quick. They dont make it any more-it was kind of out done by the acura integra, and eventually the rsx. They hold their value well, but if you want a new car(honda), consider the rsx or even the brand new civic si. They made the fourth generation from 92-96 and the fifth(with the big square headlights) from 97-01. Good luck.
