i got a 91 accord and bought a cold air intake for it. what i had to do was unbolt and unclamp the original equipment. from the intake tube all the way down to the water collecter reservior (where the water drips into and out of as to not get water sucked into the carburator, if you didnt know). 2 bolts were in the fender well also. but ofcourse the intake was wider than the original. about a inch or so. realizing that, i measured what i had to cut and used a small electric circular grinder to fit in the small working space to fabricate a larger one. at a slight angle. made a oval shaped hole. every thing was almost a tight fit but fit snug when it was finally in. i slid the lower tube in the hole and positioned the other end w/the 3" rubber piece, slid that on to the carb and clamped it on. bolted it down in the middle and then i had to put the filter on in the fender well and clamped that. remember ram air intakes are shorter and you dont have to do all that; i did it because thats what i wanted. took me about 1 1/2 hours to do but i did it - rather than me paying 80 bucks to get it done. when i finally drove off, i could feel the little extra hp it had from the extra air coming in. i guess different results vary from car to car so i would look around for different types of intakes for your car's engine in the stores and internet where you can get them a little cheaper and ask various people, friends, and strangers for advice, suggestions, ideas and stuff so you'll get a general idea on what to do. sorry i aint got no web sites. good luck.
