The S2K is for someone who wants a car that can handle fast and superbly on winding roads, its an autocrossers dream. But for general straight line you might want to shell out double that for an Acura NSX.

I own a S2000. It is very fast and responsive. The ride is rough and would not be ideal for long trips. You can also increase the horse power considerably with a bolt on supercharger.It is the nicest sports car I have ever owned for under 50k USD
