There are systems that you can use that are portable. the downside is that without the extermal antenna the reception is a little less. You should be able to find them at any of the large radio/electronic chains

I have an xm radio in my truck and I have a 2 piece antenna that sticks on the glass. One piece that is wired on the reciever sticks to the inside of the glass and the other piece with the actual antenna sticks to the out side of the glass. It sends the signal right through the glass. It works great. I have never had a problem with it. Its been on there for almost 3 years. It was made by a company called TERK.

yes but you would need a new aftermarket Headunit that is prewired for XM. most headunits have either xm or sirius now. for a good selection of units try the Cardomain.com store.
