just look for parts that are carb legal i with the carb # tag, i live in CA so it's pretty much the same here, also the best is: the flywheel, if the flywheel is too heavy the engine needs to work harder to move it and therefore slower revs, so lighter flywheel faster revs and faster acceleration, some headers and intake could be a good idea too. also dont make the mistake a lot of people make. bigger rims, wheels, whatever you call it makes for a slower car, it will have more top speed but who drives around at 120mph all the time, get a good size but not too big, or too heavy a little weight in the drivetrain makes a big impact so get like racing hart rims P05's those are like 8.lbs vs. 18.lbs on usual rims. in other words remove the corks in your engine intake, exhaust, and the best way if you don't want the PO-PO (police) on your ass is reduce your weight to power ratio, get a carbon fiber hood, trunk, etc. that is why the fastest street cars are all gutted out, so the power got toward speed not to moving weight
