Most people prefer using the steering wheel.

I build these Elements everyday here in Ohio and personally own one as well. They are a smooth riding small SUV and a versatile vehicle to have.

The Honda Element drives just like a brick would. It is just a square box with a lot of plastic. So I guess it would be a Lego brick. Lots of road noise and an uncomfortable ride to boot.

I work for a honda dealership as a lot attendant. I basically get paid to drive cars. They drive quiet smoothly and handle very well. They also have suprisingly good acceleration. Very roomy. The only downside is blind spots and the windshield is at a strange angle. it seems to be far away too. but this is all very easy to adjust too. just strange at first.
