I live in China. I have a Honda Odyssey here but it is a four door sport wagon and not a minivan. I like it because it is very reliable, roomy, and comfortable. It is the first Honda I have ever owned out of 28 cars in nearly 50 years of driving. I just hope I never have to have it repaired.

Great car. Be careful with transmission problems, which are usually covered by warrenty, and there have been recalls on these transmission problems, where you basically pay nothing to get the problem fixed.

very nice van, costs a lot.btw, don't get the electric doors unless you really really need them. the most popular question in the home mechanic boards re the odyssey is how to disconnect them. (i don't know). the problem is (i imagine it's similar for most makes of van) that you can't override the electric mechanism manually. so you're stuck with the sloooowwwww door opening and closing. and when it jams on a penny or something in the track, it fights you when you try to reverse it to unjam it. and it needs to be in park before you can open the door. that doesn't seem like a problem to me, but apparently mothers all over the country would like to be able to pitch their kids out of the van while it's still moving.
