Default I am looking to get an engine swap for my 2001 honda civic lx but idk what to go for.?

I want more power so it can get up and go in like the stock motor it has. What would be the best motor to get?

Waste of money. Sell your civic and take what you get from that, plus what you were gonna spend on the swap and buy a car that's stock fast.
