Default Honda Civic LX Tranny?

Ok I have a 7th Gen Honda Civic lx Coupe and just recently I have been hearing this whining noise it's really faint though no grinding no hard shift just a slight whining noise when in park when I shift to drive it goes away I checked they fluid its a really light red clear no burnt smell I think it's a little low but it's hard to tell on the dipstick any ideas? Please professional answers only.

might not be the transmission. find local shop at ATRA.COM for them to verify
