Default I almost red line iVtech engine?

Red line 6500 rpm I only did 5500rpm

I get most torque between 2500-3000 rpm

Only 30 seconds

Full synthetic 5W-20

I was not racing anyone

I'm okay?

Vehicle is ok. 2004 with 75000 miles

Not sure what your asking. If your asking if its okay to go to redline-yes, nothing will happen if your rpms hit redline every now and then, especially in a reliable engine such as the vtech. However, if you held it there for 30 seconds, that's probably pushing it as the engine is not designed to run so fast for sustained periods of time.

Honda's CRAVE high rev's...I guarantee you, you are doing nothing wrong to this engine. Honda's are very reliable and some of their older formula one engines can turn at 18,000+ rpm, these engines, whether street or race, are made to handle high RPM's.

Honda's make more power in the upper RPM ranges. Your car has VTEC which will kick in a few thousand RPM's below the redline and the technology will lift your needle a little into the redline of your engine, but only briefly. This is normal on VTEC engines when pushed hard, you have nothing to worry about.

Do not worry about almost redlining, you are doing no harm other than blowing the carbon out of your cylinders.
