Default What should I do to my 1996 Honda Accord?

I just got this beat down 1996 Honda Accord for 500$ and I want to completely redo this vehicle. I'm talking paint, seats, all that I just don't know where to start. And again, this thing is BEAT down.

If it runs well, just run it into the ground. You've got a great "winter beater", save up your money and buy yourself a nice 2nd car and use this one as your commuter or winter car.

Now, I can appreciate the need to customize so I won't say "trade it in" or "scrap it". If you just can't stand having something stock, a decent set of wheels (cheap but nice, check craigslist) and some lowering springs (don't cut your springs, get eibachs or something) will work wonders to improve the look of any car.. aside from that, enjoy it for what it is: a beater.. have fun with it, maybe plastidip it in interesting colors, some sticker bombs.. but don't ever pretend its a nice car because real car guys will see right through that

If you're looking to do performance I would start with a new engine and tranny. Then turbo the thing with a nice air intake. Then lower it, put some rims on it and paint it subaru blue. Under glow is fun. 5 point harness seats, and remove the back seat. Don't buy a spoiler. Don't buy a body kit. Maybe a lip kit (urethane so it doesn't break in 6 mounts). Don't buy lambo doors. And get the interior redone.
