Default If i replace the block on my Accord Radio, will have to get a different theft code?

I have a 2003 Honda Accord EX-L. There is a CD stuck in the changer. I want to replace my block and use the same faceplate. I have the Theft code for my current radio. I'm wondering if the code will be the same or if I'll have to get a different one for the different block. Thanks in advance.

I assume this is an aftermarket radio, since stock Accord radio does not have a removable faceplate.

If it is an aftermarket radio, I believe you have to buy the whole set, the block and faceplate together.

If stock radio is raplaced, it will have a new serial number, hence a new code is required.

The code is in the memory of the block, not in the faceplate.
