Default My Honda Accord is not RWD but why was the rear wheels spinning when I bogged down?

Like all Honda Accords my 2011 is FWD or at least I thought it was. My wife bogged the car down in the yard and while watching her when it got stuck the rear wheels were just a spinning while the front wheels did nothing. I'm confused as to how this is possible. I don't see any information online about RWD Honda Accords. I really want to understand whats going on here. Im looking for facts here... no "i thinks."

Either it was high centered and the wheels were free spinning, or you have AWD.

Is it an Accord Crosstour? They are AWD.

Factory stock accords are FWD.

Did you get your car brand new from a dealer, or 2nd hand?

Tuners have been converting Accords to RWD for drifting and/or racing.
