Default 5 Speed Transmission How To Use It?. Honda Civic 2000?

I Use 2 When I'm On The Street Not Going Any Higher Than 50mph , When I'm About To Enter The Freeway I Shift To D3 Then When I Reach 65mph I Then Go To D4, When I Get Back On The Street I Stop From Being At D4 And Go Back On 2. Will This Mess Up My Engine Or Is This Just Fine? Also My 2000 Civic Is Automatic

Two things

1 - Stop capitalizing the first letter of every word, it's annoying and not the correct way to write.

2 - If you want to shift yourself, buy a car with a manual. For your car you are better putting it in drive and leaving the computer do it's thing, it will be better at it than you are. You are probably wasting gas by leaving it in low gears so much and you aren't doing your engine or transmission any favors either.

It won't mess up your engine but you're transmission doesn't like it. A friend of mine did this and threw his transmission. I would just let the automatic do what it does best or get a manual.

Just put it in D4, anything else is pointless for normal driving.

Learn how to capitalize and punctuate.

50 MPH is way too fast for second gear. 65 MPH is way too fast for third gear. You are over-revving, or very close to over-revving.

Use D4 when you're moving forward, R for moving backwards. Otherwise, leave it alone. You don't know how to drive a manual transmission. You're killing your engine.
