Default why did my alternator fuse blow everytime i start my 2004 honda Odyssey?

dash board dead, no power locks or power at all

The voltage regulator on the alternator maybe shorted out or one of the battery, starter, engine block ground cables might be frayed or melted and shorting out.I'd trace each of these wires and make sure their not melted or shorted out etc.Also check the fuse box make sure none of those wires are shorting out.
