Default what are the fuses next to the battery on a kia amanti?

what are the fuses next to the battery on a kia amanti.. there is two hooked up on the positive side.. one is at 140 amps..and the other one at 90 i think what are they there for?

Those are the major power distribution fuses for the entire car. There is a smaller fuse box under the dash in the driver's foot well.
