Default Can a honda gx160 run vertically.?

I need a new engine for my off road mower and I was wondering if a Honda gx160 engine can run so that the crank shaft is vertical (facing downwards) instead of facing horizontally (facing sideways). I've tried googling this but I can't find anything.

I would like a Honda gx engine because they can be tuned and changed easily and parts here are really really cheap. 10 for a brand new carb isn't bad. They are also fuel efficient and can be quiet with the right exhaust.

Hi what ever attitude an engine is put in it will run and be used forwards. backwards right way up and upside down even like they do when they use one of a propelled hang glider. even on it's side when powering a hover craft.

so yes it will work.
