Default Holes in Resonator Pipe in 98 honda civic lx.?

Okay so lately my car has been sounding louder and louder and then the other day the noise got way worse, especially when accelerating, pretty sure I have to replace a part or a couple parts of my exhaust system, I got under my car the other day and I noticed that there are a couple of hole errosions in my resonator pipe, pipe that goes from back to cat conv. can these holes be causing the extreme noise, or would another part of my exhaust have to be replaced as well.

The holes are definitely the main cause of your noise. Whether any other parts need replaced will depend upon how rusted the connections are between the pipes.
