Default what is the problem with my 2000 honda civic?

I keep turning on the car but it keeps on clicking and won't run is the starter broken or alternator? and I have another question,How do I put back on the door panel? I just don't know how to put the metal rods that are located on the door lock

There is a possibility that your battery is low you can take a volt meter and check that it has around 12 volt or more. Or take the battery to get tested at the auto parts which is a more accurate reading. As for your door I can't help you. Good luck.

You can test the battery with a volt meter but if your not up for that take it to your local autozone where they will lode test it and try charging for you if needed for free. If you can drive the car to them they can test the starter and alternator for you while their still in the car. If its not the battery you can try tapping the starter with a hammer or wrench while you try to start the car. This will either possibly knock loose a stuck solenoid or allow the spark the jump. If that fails I'll assume the car is immobile and the starter will have to be removed to so the starter to be bench tested. If the battery is the problem and simply need to be charged after reinstalling the battery either unplug the alternator with the car running and test that the connector is producing at least 14.7v or take it to autozone and have them test it.

As to the door there are little plastic clips that are connected to the metal rods. For instance with the interior door handle there should be a plastic clip on the back that connects to the metal rod that goes horizontally across the door. If you don't have a service manual try removing the opposing handle or at least loosen it enough to see how it connects to the rod. If that doesn't work try searching the honda specific forums for your particular model.
