Default Is it possible someone drained my transmission fluid out if it was fine a month ago?

And today i broke down with no transmission fluid...now i need new tranny. Could it be sabatoge?

Yes that is possible. But if someone did that, you would have remembered seeing a small pool of oil around your car.































Transmission usually don't burn off oil like that. It could be that your transmission was already bad.

Yeah possibly. But who could've drained your fluid on purpose? Either that or your fluid tank underneath your car is just leaking.

I doubt it. My Honda Stream (Civic derivative) got noisier so I looked at the transmission oil. It had a leak where the left side drive shaft goes in. We replaced the seal, and it still leaked, and it got noisier. Now it's having the autobox replaced at only 69,000 miles. And there I was thinking I'd be OK with a Honda... they're the same as any other car for things going wrong.
