Default How to upgrade 2001 honda civic?

What kind of interior and exterior upgrades should I make to make my car look more modern? I don't care about performance since this an economical car, this car has less than 100000 miles, and I expect to use it for at least the next 9 years, btw I'm an 18 year old student

Take it to a dealership and trade it for something upgraded already...Try a Charger, 300C, mustang, camaro...Honestly, any body or interior modifications won't make it look any more "modern", just tacky. Not to mention you will spend several thousands of dollars to do it, when you could have just put that money towards buying a new car. Even trading it in plus the money you would invest on a 2000-ish 318i or A4 would be a huge upgrade.

If you can locate Mario Rinaldi in Tampa, FL, I can assure you he can make you civic fly to the moon. He's an artist.

Get a new radio, the standard ones in those things suck. Get a Pioneer DEH-X6500BT, they were voted best radio for the 2001 Honda Civic! Get some new rims, i personally thing black look the best. Tint your windows too, but be sure to check your states laws of how dark you're aloud to have them. Get a new throttle/shift stick like a different colored one! Cover your steering wheel with a matching color, that would look nice. There isn't too much you can do to the inside without spending thousands, which would be a terrible idea.

If you got the 4 door then you can forget it those are pretty butt ugly imo but you can get JDM headlights, JDM grill, Coilovers, front lip, rear bumper, Red/Clear JDM tail lights, RSX spoiler, tint, 5K HIDS, Muffler tip or exhaust, Headers, Intake...

If you have the 2 door which is much nicer you can:

- JDM headlights, JDM Type R Grill, Coilovers, DO THE REAR TAIL LIGHT CONVERSION FOR THE 04+ tail lights...they looook WAYYY cleaner then the 01 version, Front Lip, Rear Lip, Side moldings, Tint, and a spoiler. I think the RSX spoilers look nice on these but its a matter of opinion. Idk your style but this is my idea of what a perfect modest civic would look like. I hate it when I see riced out civics with euro lights and stupid shiny chrome rims usually driven by a black guy or a mexican dude...just pointing the facts. Keep it clean and straightforward...

ALSO...i can't stress this enough but get some goood looking rims...not no chrome shiny 22" bs,

If you get it all right it should look somewhere along the lines of this

Tell me that doesn't look SICK!!! So simple yet sophisticated. Goodluck
