Default Please help with this civic....he got a new block and doesnt know the mileage? 1999 civic si?

it looks good, but he has no idea how many miles are on the engine, because its been built around..?















no he doesnt know the miles, the seller doesnt

if it was built well it doesn't really matter how many miles are on it. it matters how many miles since the build. Does he have paperwork for the block replacement. If not DO NOT pay $6k for it. but Hondas are easy to work on so if you get it for a good price I say go for it

Even if it had the stock engine, it would be around 130 to 140 thousand miles up to say 180 thousand. Figure 10K miles a year (as a minimum) (we have to eat, sleep, drink and fk)[oh yeah... go to work] (so the car is parked during those times)















. Once things get rebuilt, then the above stated figures apply to those items that have not been changed.(like radio, paint job, door handles, wheel nuts,etc)































It is red. Definitely catches the eye of the highway patrol(as this is one of their favorites to pull over and do a roadside inspection) as they see red as sports car minded driver so most likely he is doing something illegal.
