Default Can i adjust the bands on my 2001 honda accord?

Tranmy slips between second. And third gear

if it's slipping then it needs to be fixed, not adjusting, cause you can't adjust a transmission.

yes, they have 4 gears that you can put them in. "steer", "front", "reverse", "pilot". you can switch between geasr just make sure you don't hit the gears at the wrong time.

I'm pretty sure Honda transmissions have no bands. They are not like most automatic transmissions; they are effectively manual transmissions with hydraulically activated clutches. See the first source.































Sadly, your 2001 is in the heart of the Great Honda Automatic Transmission Debacle of 1998-2004. The first source has the details. The symptoms you describe are the ones that announce pending transmission failure.

No sir.. Flagmichael is absolutely correct.. Honda automatics are like none other, they do not have bands(or planetary gears at all for matter)they are like an automatic manual transmissions. . Unfortunately terry if it's slipping, it's due to a worn out clutch pack and it has to be removed disassembled and rebuilt... Good luck.. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.
