Default I have a turbo accord I would like to take the turbo off well just disconnect the compressor...

...intake pipe.? will that hurt my motor? i have been running boost for about 40,000 miles the veins are rubbing the compressor side and i don't want metal shavings in my motor. what i'm asking is will the compression rate difference make my piston go thru the block since its been on boost.

If it does run your not going to like it. The car will feel like some dying turtle especially up any hills. Your taking away 30 percent of the power at least The biggest problem with turbo is keeping oil to the high speed bearings. Once the bearings start to wear out the car may smoke or use oil if any metal shavings are seen stop driving the car and either fix the problem or plan to rebuild a expensive motor and turbo. The turbo is a great power adder but like any other car needs maintenance. get the car to a mechanic before you do anything else and get another opinion besides mine or yours. good luck
