Default Honda Accord replacement key?

My local UAE Honda dealer is charging me 570 USD to replace the key and auto fob. Can I get this cheaper from ordering direct from somewhere?

Not significantly so. The key contains an immobiliser chip and like all such keys is very expensive, particularly so with Honda. It then needs the car to be programmed to recognise the chip so there are labour charges involved. The price you've been quoted is very comparable to what I'd get charged in the UK for a similar deal.

But if you're a regular customer there's no harm in asking whether they'll do the programming for free in return for you agreeing to book the car in with them for a scheduled maintenance service.
