Default 91 crx si (b16a) swap?

okay so i bought a 91 si with a b16a already swapped in it. ran good for first week or so, than boom it started bogging down, it would randomly start almost feeling like there was a fuel cut off and it would pull out of it, noticed fuel pressure regualor was blocked off, i fixed that, it stoped bogging but still feels like it might be missing and a noticeable amount of power loss. i pulled cap and rotor they look almost new, it just started throwing code 8 on a pr3 but all wiring is good? its got a jumper harness so its not a all cut up harness, Any ideas guys? i hate to take it to a shop as im trying to do this entire car myself from the point i bought it on.

code 8 is for the tdc(top dead center)sensor. It's inside the dizzy. If you can get your hands on a working dizzy from a buddy swap it and see if it goes away. I'm pretty sure you need a new dizzy to fix it though. My wife's civic threw the tdc sensor code and was running like crap. I put a new dizzy on it and it went away. You still should check the harness and dizzy over look for any broken or corroded wires. Also, pull the cap of the dizzy and make sure module(s) inside are tight and didn't come loose. Also, check the plugs on the dizzy, jumper harness, and at the ecm, make sure nothings loose.
