Default Rsx type s or civic ?

Should I buy a rsx type s or a late 90s early 2000s civic coupe 5 speed? I drive 100 miles a day to work I've had a civic before just never an rsx are they as reliable and fuel efficient as the civic? Also what's are some other good 4 banger cars that are manual trans and fuel efficient and around 5 or 6 thousand ???

I believe in terms of build quality and suspension tuning the RSX is actually a better car than the Civic. But the Civic Si has much more to offer for the money, as a fully equipped one will cost some 4 grand cheaper than an equally equipped NEW RSX Type S If you're looking for a tuner car... get the RSX Type S they are more practical and lighter.

Personally I like the older (89-97) civics, preludes, crxs, and integras.

If you were compairing 02-06 Rsx Type s and 06-11 Civic Si, they are nearly the same car, main differences being the RSX is drive by cable where as the Si is drive by wire, and has an Helical LSD.

But the year civics your compairing the rsx type s.. well the Rsx is better than them...
