Default Could I turbocharge a 2010 Honda accord?

Will the engine explode or something go wrong?

Technically you can turbocharge anything. The real question is whether you really gain a value in doing it vs selling the non-turbo car and buying a car turbo from the factory. Or to put this another way, to ensure that a turbo motor doesn't explode or something, there's intercoolers and wastegates and blow off valves and miscellaneous gizmos to put it all together right. You have a better chance to ensure its right if you buy a factory turbo motor. Like an Imprezza turbo.

you can turbocharge anything. But to get one that will supply a decent amount of pressure (one worth putting in) you need to rebuild the entire engine with stronger internals that can handle the pressure so that it doesn't break something.

Things you will need to do:

Sleeve the block

forged pistons

stronger valves and valve springs

and while you're at it I'd get cams with higher lift and longer duration.

or, you can buy a car that comes turbocharged. Genesis 2.0t R-spec for example

sure, you can turbo anything, but the added hp will shorten the life olf an otherwise stock engine. the best bet is to never add more to the top end than the bottom end is designed to handle. suggest you research deeper than this source before making a decision.
