Default h22a on a 2000 accord ex coupe 4 cylinder automatic?

i have a 2000 accord ex coupe 4 cylinder automatic transmission and i was looking into getting an engine swap and i ran accros this today. HONDA PRELUDE TYPE S ENGINE SWAP JDM H22A BB6 LSD DOHC VTEC 2.2L 16-VALVE 4-CYL.

i was wondering if it was a good idea in putting that in this car or if it would even work. and if it did would their be a difference in the automatic transmission? i read it comes with a 5 speed transmission lsd.

Yup it would work. Depending on the transmission currently in the car the h22 "should" bolt up to your current tranny. But the Accord gearing is matched with an engine that has lower Revs so the gears are much longer and you will lose alot of HP through the tranny. But on the bright side you should have some amazing top speed.....

please don't put an h22a onto an automatic transmission, that's the dumbest thing I have ever heard of. If you really want to do a swap, swap the gearbox with it. If it has the M2B4 trans (should if it has the lsd) it will be sweet. You could need a new ecu though if you swap the trans, I'm not really sure how that works. I wouldn't have bought a car with an automatic transmission in the first place, it's like fake driving
