Default is it worth putting a cold air intake on an 04 Honda Civic Ex?

I have had a 2004 Honda Civic Ex stock for about a year now and decided to do some upgrades to it. I was wondering what the pros and cons of putting on a cold air intake were. I doubt ill get much of a hp gain but would i get better mpg?or if there were any other mods i could do.

No matter how fancy your air intake is, it only will draw what is required. Fancy CAI's do not help to gain power and Honda has included the best air intake that your particular engine needs. They claim a power increase. That increase is at REDLINE. Not many of us drive at the engine speed very often. Money would be better spent in an exhaust, getting spent fuel away from the engine as efficiently as possible.

CAIs do help gain some HP. Wouldn't hurt to put one in. Not sure if you would get better MPG.
