Default is a honda civic 2.2 expensive in fuel consumption?

lm now wanting to get a honda civic, a 2.2















is this going to cost me a lot, on fuel ,it ia a diesel,















l have been told this might cost me more on fuel as the engine is too big















lm confused as l have put deposit, and lm afraid l might not get it back as l minght have to find a car at this garage which at this point the milege seems to be a problem















it is a 2009 plate















thank you for all the advice its really helped as l havent been sure on what to get,

Depends how & where you drive it. Might do 40-50mpg driven sensibly.















The Civic's mpg figures are competitive with anything else a similar size, decent cars too if you're talking about the new ones.































EDIT: I'd definitely buy this instead of the Golf you were asking about the other day, it's a far better car in every respect.

good car. your problem could be insurance not fuel consumption. It is only a civic, not a big car, Honda engines are good so fuel consumption is not going to be bad.

GO FOR IT















A 2006 model gives 42.8mpg uban, 65,7 mpg extra urban, and 55,4 mpg combined, this is a very good return just make sure you get a decent warranty with it
