Default 1995 Honda Prelude Auto jerks when it shifts?

Ive come to think it is the solenoid(s). The tranny will jump/jerk forward a bit when it shifts up pretty much every gear. The car has 123k original miles on it and i dont think its the tranny going bad. Im just not sure how to get to them or how to get them off. This is my first prelude so the more help, the better. Thanks.

there are three 10mm bolts that holds each of the solenoid packs on. however, it would be odd if they caused a jerk when shifting. these things are primitive and are more of an on off switch

have you tried adjusting the cable from your throttle body to the transmission(throttle cable)?
