Default 1997 civic sunroof problems...?

Recently, my drivers side window has messed up so I got a new regulator and all that, I was wondering if that has any reason as to why my sunroof wont open? Are the on the same motor or different. Help):

Most likely not, but it is possible. one of your fuses may be out. which you can change yourself. go to autozone and they could help. or take it to your mechanic and he will help you within 30 mins.
