Default Honda Cbr1000rr fireblade (2005) Normal Temperature ?

Hi everyone,

Is there anyone else with same bike having same problem. When I ride my bike the temperature rise up to 100c - 105c and it's about in 20 minutes ride from my home to work, and when I get home and stops, Temperature rise up to 108c - 109c and then it starts decreasing. Is it normal or should I take it to a mechanic ?

Thanks in advance

100-105c is ok if your at a stop for about a minute or so, thats pretty normal. Then again on a super hot day my temperature rose to 108c, then the fan kicked in and cooled it down. So I would say this temperature is fine if its about 33c outside, but if it is cold outside and your bike Is running that hot, I would take it to a mechanic. On a cool day (26c) it should be running at around 86c on the freeway that is.
