Default 2002 Honda accord lx sedan auto. Transmission failure?

So the engine check light came on and I took it in to my local auto parts store to check for codes. They told me it was the torque converter solenoid. It has 113k. Can I just replace that part or is it the while transmission. If its the whole transmission how much will it be to fix it. Please help me out.

well a transimission faluire is common in the 02 accord. i would knot doubt that. if they told you it was just the solenoid than just replace that part. replacing the whole transmission will cost thousands of dollars.
