Default what kinda gas does my car need 87 or 91 does it even matter? tell me please i dont have...

...owners manuel? i have a 94 honda accord lx 2.2 liter 4 cylender, 4 door sedan, i have no clue which gasoline type is reccomended for my car please im a lost soul

In that car it doesn't matter use the cheap one. Octane rating is just a way of saying it has more bang for performance engines.

Higher compression = higher ratings. Your Accord's ratio is like 9.5:1, which is high. In this case, you would probably want to use 91 to be on the good side of the gas companies, but 87 won't hurt the car either. 85 octane won't hurt the engine either (NOT E85). Especially for a Honda of that year, it is useless to use 91 octane. Spoil that kind of gas for an Audi R8 or a Maserati Gran Turismo.

use the 87. u only need the 91 for luxury cars (no offense)
