Default 2003 Honda Civic timing belt change?

my 2003 Honda Civic ex has 119,000 miles on it, ive had it for about 10 years now. Ive been keeping it well maintained because i plan on driving this car until there are flames shooting out of it.

i finally have some extra money laying around so i went and bought a timing belt and a water pump. The mechanic says i also have to replace the tensioner and gaskets. Is this true?

Should i spend the extra money and replace them as well?

it was $60 for timing belt and water pump

$100 for tensioner and gaskets

$180 labor for installation.

grand total $340

Is this a good deal? and should i get those additional replacement parts?

$340 for a timing belt job is a great deal.

I hope you don't mean serpentine belt, because that's a difference story.
